where it all began…
A volte mi chiedo perché disegno fumetti… perché faccio quello che faccio, ma la risposta è semplice: perché ad un certo punto ho cominciato e non sono più stato capace di smettere. Ma quand’è che ho cominciato esattamente? Un po’di tempo fa stavo rovistando tra le mie vecchie cose a casa dei miei genitori e ho ritrovato questa cosa… probablimente la mia prima vera tavola a fumetti. Non ricordo di quando sia, più o meno primi anni alle elementari poichè sapevo già scrivere. È veramente divertente ritrovare cose come queste, ti danno la palpabile sensazione di aver imparato qualcosa in tutti questi anni… anche se forse diverse cose le ho anche disimparate.
Sometimes I wonder why I keep drawing comics… why I keep on doing this, but the answer is easy: it’s beacuse at one moment I started and I could not stop doing it since. But when did I exactly start with it? Some time ago, while digging up old stuff at my parents’ I found this page, probably my first comic ever. It’s funny how these things give you the positive feeling that you have learned a thing or two in all these years… though certainly there’s a lot of things I have forgotten.
